Cecilia (from Degrees Kelvin, Beer, and the Price of Oil Paint)
I’ve been told that was her name:
Cecilia.
(you’re breaking my heart)
From Latin:
Blind.
(you’re shaking my confidence)
And all I know about her
is that she passed her wretchedness on to me,
and I haven’t seen her in
eighteen years
eleven months
nine days
six hours
twenty-three minutes
and
seventeen seconds.
